Election of Regional Directors

Regional directors representing the Billings, Great Falls and Helena areas were nominated without opposition June 7 at MPEA’s Annual Meeting in Butte. The association’s bylaws provide that those nominated without opposition are elected.

Sheryl Stinchfield was re-elected to the Region I position to represent the Billings area. More precisely, the area covers all members whose home addresses have zip codes that begin 590, 591 and 593. In addition to serving on the MPEA board for a number of years, Stinchfield has also been a member of EPIC’s board. EPIC is MPEA’s political action committee. Stinchfield is a member of the Yellowstone County Office of Public Assistance staff.

LeeAnne Gills was elected Region 2 Director to represent those in the Great Falls area. This will be Gills first full term as a board member. Gills had been appointed to the board in January of this year. She is a member of MPEA’s 1500 member University Chapter and works at the College of Technology in Great Falls. The Great Falls region includes all MPEA members whose zip codes include 592 through 594 numbers.

State Fund Chapter member Bob Silberling was nominated without opposition for the Region 3 position, which includes all members whose zip codes begin 596. This is the Helena area. Silberling has many years of experience as a MPEA board member.
